I believe in the future…
And… How to Survive and Thrive in 2025.

I get asked a lot this time of year, about predictions for the future of work.
Not surprisingly, as this is my job — it’s what I choose to do. I am a keynote speaker for people on AI and technology and the future of work.
But before my predictions some reflections — as this year has been amazing…
The tale of the tape — what happened in 2024- a hell of a year.
Thanks to my agents and a whole host of people. Who I am very grateful for.
I produced more than 16 different keynotes and training sessions.
And did this across 4 different countries.
For online and in person audiences.
Ranging from 3000 people online for a global brand to 6 people in a secret room in Paris (all heads of global brands as well.)
I have been interviewed for the radio more than 74 times (a number that still shocks me — but proves I have a face for radio*.)
And have been on the TV, normally on the BBC, 17 times* — and normally for positive and tech related reasons…
I was asked to go on 12 different podcasts (13 after next week)
Interestingly, next year, you will see me take a slightly different stance on a couple of key tech things… During 2024 I have created more than:
- 1000+ social media posts, on different platforms, mainly LinkedIn.
- 54 different videos, both live and recorded ones.
- 39 different newsletters editions. And this one.
- 3 new online courses (the plan is for 2 more*.)
- 1 new book (with 2 more before 2025)
- The last book being written now.
Now, why tell you all of this?
Because I want you to understand and see how much work goes into my work. But also for you to realize that this level of production from a solo entrepreneur isn’t possible without.
A) A team of great people around me.
B) A firm belief about what I do and why.
C) A series of bits of technology to help me.
And it is this TECHNOLOGY piece which is going to be a key theme for my predictions for next year. As 2025 will be the year of the AI agent…
So my 5 predictions for 2025
MY 2025 PREDICTIONS
1. AI-Driven Workplaces
- Generative AI as a Standard Tool: AI will become as ubiquitous as email, enhancing creativity, automating tasks, and acting as a co-worker in areas like content creation, decision-making, and coding.
- AI-Augmented Roles: New job roles will emerge focused on managing, training, and auditing AI systems, shifting the workforce dynamic.
2. Skills-Based Economy
- Shift from Degrees to Skills: Employers will increasingly prioritize demonstrable skills over traditional credentials, supported by certifications, micro-credentials, and portfolios validated by AI platforms.
- Reskilling at Scale: Businesses will invest heavily in training programs to keep up with technological advancements.
3. Hyper-Personalized Employee Experiences
- Tailored Work Journeys: AI will enable personalized career development plans, benefits packages, and learning pathways based on employee preferences and performance.
- Well-being Tech Integration: Companies will adopt predictive analytics to monitor and address employee well-being proactively.
4. Green and Purpose-Driven Work
- Sustainability as a Core Metric: ESG goals will become integral to business success, with employees demanding green policies and meaningful action on climate change.
- Purpose-Driven Recruitment: Workers, especially younger generations, will prioritize aligning with organizations that have clear societal and environmental missions.
5. Redefining Leadership
- AI-Powered Leaders: Decision-making will increasingly rely on AI insights, with leaders focusing on emotional intelligence and cultural leadership.
- Empathy and Inclusion as Leadership Norms: Diversity, inclusion, and emotional intelligence will no longer be optional but essential qualities for leadership in a hybrid, globalized workforce.
