Friday And The Future Of Work (Vol 10) Transformation.
You want to transform your world — get this FREE list of amazing people to follow and learn from all about the future of work and AI.
I have been very lucky as over the last month I have been doing my keynotes about Ai and the future of work around Europe at some amazing events…
- Be that EuraLocation in Portugal.
- Or in the Hilton in London for WorldWideEvents
- Or in Harrogate Pavilion for Stone Group.
No matter where I have been…
I have been mainly talking about technology, AI and the future of work.
And it was after one such event that a young person, eager to get ahead in life, asked me — apart from myself — who else should they be following in the world of AI to learn as much as they need to.
With the new announcements in AI, from the major players, which we will cover in this newsletter also. There probably isn’t a better time to think about the key people in this industry.
As now, no matter the hype levels, AI is going to be a central part of the future of work. As the main tech companies are all facing in this direction.
Unless work goes back to not using computers, and maybe your work is lucky enough to not use computers much, for most of us — this is now the future. Learning how to use AI and as quickly as possible. Inspired by Simon Squibb, my new course on how to use AI is 98% off
(It would be totally free but the platform and Stribe don’t allow it.)
This means you can…
“Learn how to use AI in an hour and for less than half a bar of chocolate.”
Go to my AI course, as I, like OpenAI, believe that giving people the training and tools. Means that we can change the world. One person at a time…
As Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI put it last year…
“If you give people better tools they can change the world. We believe that AI will be about individual empowerment and agency at a scale that we’ve never seen before. And that will elevate humanity to a scale that we’ve never seen before.
We’ll be able to do more to create more and to have more as intelligence gets integrated everywhere. We will all have superpowers on demand we’re excited to see what you all will do with this technology and to discover the new future that we’re all going to architect together”
WHY DO I SAY THIS ABOUT OPENAI?
As they just gave everyone access to their new AI system for FREE. Yes for FREE. The new model. Which means you can use AI with a huge amount of power for FREE.
To help your productivity for FREE.
And save hours of work.
Yes for FREE.
Learn how to use this powerful new #ChatGPT4o
With my Prompt Engineering Course.
As, no matter which AI you choose. You still need to get the best out of it.
(You can get MY COURSE almost totally for free — with 98% off)
Use DanS98code to get the insane discount.
And I hope my karma increases with it.
As this course took ages to make.
And now it’s practically free.
What else can you do now — for practically free?
Well, due to the platform LINKEDIN you can learn from some of the best minds around. By listening to their posts and learning from their websites and newsletters.
Some of these people are super famous in the industry, some are household names, some are more like tech philosophers, and some are entrepreneurial thought leaders, and some major in marketing — as AI sits so well in that space — and why I started www.aimarketingcourse.co.uk
Most of their information they are giving away for free. In posts and comments.
Not all of it — some paywall their best information — as it is their job.
Some give away all their information and learning for free.
All you need is the time and motivation to learn from them.
Here is a Friday Follow list of people to listen to in AI

Just click on any of the above and learn more about AI …
And the future of work.
Hey, wasn’t that Demis on the stage…
You might have seen the Google IO launch — which was so obsessed with AI this year — that it gave Demis (the founder of Deep Mind — and a friend of a friend of mine) center stage.
Now Demis has been talking about this kinda AI for over a decade.
But it finally has come to pass. Not only the amazing work of the Alpha fold team — which will change medicines and health as we know it — but also for use by us mere mortals. And some pretty useful stuff too.
As Google, the mega company that bought his company for a trivially £458 million a few years back is going all in on AI.
Pretty much throwing a bunch of stuff at the wall, but there are some pretty cool things that I think will matter the most. Brilliantly reported by the ….
- Agentic search: Google is aiming to go from normal search to where “Google does the googling for you.”
- Google in Android: Google is creating a virtual assistant that will come bundled at the operating system level.
- Gemini 1.5 everywhere: From its Google Sheets to Google Photos to Gmail products, Google is integrating the ability to query, search, and summarize your data.
Open AI also had it’s new launch and here are the three main things — also thought about that they are:
- ChatGPT-4o: A large language model that can process video, audio, and text simultaneously.
- Desktop App: Initially launching on Mac (sorry, Microsoft fans). But also kinda an indicator of the future partnership with MS too?
- Enhanced API Access: Twice as fast, 50% cheaper, and with five times the rate limits of its predecessor.
While GPT-4o isn’t a massive leap in intelligence from GPT-4 Turbo, it’s the most user-friendly model OpenAI has ever released. And more importantly, as I wax lyrical about in my Tech Tuesday newsletter — EVERYONE NOW GETS ALL THIS FOR FREE!!!
And for those of us that use the API with Typing Mind.
Then… The new model has…
- 50% lower pricing. GPT-4o is 50% cheaper than GPT-4 Turbo, across both input tokens ($5 per 1 million tokens) and output tokens ($15 per 1 million tokens).
- 2x faster latency. GPT-4o is 2x faster than GPT-4 Turbo.
- 5x higher rate limits. Over the coming weeks, GPT-4o will ramp to 5x those of GPT-4 Turbo — up to 10 million tokens per minute for developers with high usage.
And this roll out — unlike many of the Google ideas — is LIVE RIGHT NOW. Which means everyone with access to ChatGPT now has access to The GPT Store…
So sign up to OpenAI today.
It takes two minutes and then you can use ChatGPT4.o for FREE.
AND…
You can have a peer into the future as well by using any of my public facing GPT’s for FREE.
WHICH GPT TO PLAY WITH FIRST?
That’s up to you…I have made over 40 different GPT’s here are 4 of them.

And then perhaps my favorite as an experiment. It’s me but as an AI.
Get insights on AI, future work, and marketing, in the style of Dan Sodergren.
This last one — I think is really interesting
As it opens up a new world of work. Not just for me, but perhaps for you too. Could you clone yourself — make a digital twin — and have that do some of your work for you?
This might just be the future of work. Getting the AI to do the heavy lifting for us. Just like we do with machines in factories and in construction and mining. We don’t expect 1000 people to dig the same hole over a week — needed for the foundations — that we can do with a digger in an hour.
The same might be with AI.
Now with the new updates — and the ability to use ChatGPT4.o for free — even the foreman on the site might be AI. Not just the laborer.
So where does that put us?
Are we now the architects of our own work?
And our own destinies? Maybe we will all soon have our own business?
Is the world ready for that? Are you?
