7 INTERESTING THINGS WE LEARNT IN 2021.

That you are likely to be customer focused as your top core value. Three times as likely as for education for example. You are also motivated by teamwork. And are twice as likely to use Your FLOCK. So kudos to you.
As someone that helps run a small tech startup I know we HAVE to be customer focused to survive. And also the importance of a strong team culture.
Creative / Digital Agencies.
That you are likely to be most motivated by teamwork (29% are) more than 20% more than the next. BUT you are also highly detail driven. More than any other sector we work with.
Teamwork is key and perhaps why many agencies are trying to get people back into their offices. AND the detail driven result. Shows the importance of details and data in modern marketing.
Finance / Law.
That you are driven by adaptability. (Or maybe more accepting of it) and your sector has the highest desire for autonomy. Which is 4 times higher than teams working in Creative and Digital.
As someone that knows lawyers well — I can see this. Also high autonomy might mean not as many central lawyer offices are needed?
Education and training.
That you share the top spot with Creative and Digital to be motivated by teamwork. Which makes sense in this industry. But you also have the highest desire for being results focused.
Which kinda makes sense with grades etc. But perhaps this sector COULD look into more team building activities too.
That your teams are driven by personal growth but also very strongly by recognition. Which is higher than any other sector. Which is TWICE as high as it is with these teams as those in the technology sector.
This could be seen, perhaps, with younger staff, so this is a real opportunity for those in recruitment. To recognize EVERY achievement their staff do.
For people that work WITH people and the human part of human resources. Them feeling part of a team is highly important to them. Teamwork — is their highest value. People in these teams have the highest drive for adaptability too.
We work with many HR people and consultants. And can see the continual need for adaptability and teamwork in what they do.
For people in teams in this sector, personal growth is the most important thing. But they also have one of the highest needs for recognition in the data set.
Having worked in the public sector. This really surprised me. But perhaps it points to something deeper. And WHY I didn’t last long in public sector roles because of my lack of understanding of this need.
This is why I invested in YourFLOCK in the first place.
